As Managing Director, Global Partnerships at INVNT, Time Inc’s live media agency, Doug is part of a core team developing a national platform of event properties for Time Inc’s iconic brands including Sports Illustrated, People, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle and Real Simple.

Prior to INVNT, Doug was the Director of Partnership Marketing for Karlitz & Company where he oversaw sponsorship sales and partnership programs for national culinary festivals including Flavor! Napa Valley and Harlem EatUp!, working closely with many celebrated chefs including Marcus Samuelsson, Scott Conant, Todd English, Iron Chef Morimoto and Daniel Boulud.

At Karlitz, Doug closed many sponsorship deals for four world-class festivals working with a long list of blue chip brands including Citi, Chase, Microsoft, Aetna, Infiniti, HSN, Macy’s, Hard Rock Casino, JetBlue, Merrill Lynch, iHeart Media, The New York Times and Time, Inc.

An entertainment industry veteran, Doug held executive marketing roles at BMG Entertainment, Triad Artists and Wherehouse Music, where he was Director of Online Marketing for the nation’s 3rd largest entertainment retailer with 550 stores in 33 states.

Doug spent three years as Tour Manager for soul icon Barry White, including the sold-out Icon Is Love World Tour for where he shepherded three tour buses, four production trucks and dozens of musicians across fourteen countries throughout Europe, Africa and Brazil.

An avid networker, Doug created a wildly successful networking community for the entertainment industry called Rocktails which produced monthly cocktail parties on the rooftops of Hollywood hotels and boasted 3,000 members.

Doug is the co-creator and executive producer of a unique music platform called Playback Experience, which has featured rock legends Brian Wilson and John Fogerty, securing Chase as its sponsor.
