Laura Archibald is the CEO of Solomon’s Signature Productions Inc.,  a film production company

focused on historic and biographically oriented feature films and documentaries. Their eclectic catalogue

includes films in development or released that include: the history of music in the 60’s, Negro league baseball

narrated by Susan Sarandon. One of the highlights of making the film was having Kris Kristofferson perform

at the Grammy Museum screening in L.A.

Currently, as co-founder of the newly established streaming platform, Festpicks, Laura is working to create a

home for all films that have been official selections in film festivals around the world. The goal of Festpicks is

to ensure that independent films don’t disappear after the festival has ended. Laurasits on the advisory board for

The Grand River Film Festival and hopes that her well-rounded experience will help to create distribution solutions for

filmmakers, in conjunction with international film festivals.
